Brenda Starr, the well known reporter from
The Flash, has just arrived in Matawan, New Jersey. Matawan is a small
town located in Central New Jersey, only a short distance from the Jersey
Shore. Brenda will be a special guest at the home of Carmela Cappell
while she covers her latest story. The townspeople are all abuzz ...
what could be going on to bring such an illustrious reporter to this small
town.

| After a long trip, Brenda has decided to
call it an early night. After she unpacks, she relaxes with a glass of
wine and contemplates her work schedule. Her thoughts turn to Basil,
her true love. Soon, she hopes, he will return to her, cured and ready
to spend the rest of his life with her.

| The next day Brenda rises early. What
a lovely sunny day it was. Perhaps it would be a perfect day to head
down to Spring Lake on the Jersey Shore, rent a sailboat and spend the day sailing and relaxing
on the beach.

| When Brenda returned in the late afternoon
there was a telephone message for her from the famous heart throb Trent
Osborn. How, she wondered did he know she was here. He must be
attending the party tomorrow at the home of Marcia Friend (Facets by Marcia)
and heard she was here to cover the event. Brenda wasted no time
calling him back and agreeing to meet him for dinner, which she knew would
give her a wonderful opportunity to interview him at the same time and find
out about his latest movie.

| Sunday, August 17th ... Today, Brenda is
heading over to the estate of Marcia Friend, the well known jeweler.
Marcia will be hosting an unforgettable fashion get-together, referred
to some as The Party of the Season. Word has it that many of the
top models from the different modeling agencies will be in attendance as
well as numerous celebrities.
Brenda has her pad and camera ready as she heads for the party. This is one
of the most enjoyable assignments she has been on to date.

| As Brenda enters the room, she immediately
recognizes two of the top models from the House of Tonner ...
Tyler Wentworth and Cinnabar chatting with Trent Osborn. Once the girls spotted Brenda, they immediately asked
her to join them in a drink. These girls were not about to miss out
on an opportunity to have their picture taken for the paper, especially the
"Flash".

"Oh my" ... exclaims Brenda ... "There's Tom Courtney -
I'll have to ask him to pose with me ... I'm sure he wouldn't mind."
And, as you can see, Tom was glad to oblige.

As Brenda peeked in the vault her eyes widened as she
exclaims "No wonder security is so high
...there must be a fortune in jewels here."

| As she wanders through the crowd of celebrities, Brenda immediately
recognizes the famous Maxwell family, stars of the well known TV series "Meet
the Maxwells". She heads on over to photograph them and get a
story on this very famous family.

Brenda certainly couldn't pass up the opportunity to
have a quick conversation with the very elusive Greta Garbo.
"Miss Garbo ... I've enjoyed your movies so much over the years, so why, at
the very height of your career do you want to retire and leave Hollywood"
... Brenda asked.
Greta simply replied: "I vant to be alone!!!"

A special little celebrity catches Brenda's eye.
It's the famous "Travel Ann" who has been traveling all over the U.S.
Ann just happened to be traveling on the East Coast and made an unexpected
visit to her Travel Agent, Debbie.
Brenda: "So Ann, are all the stories I've heard about you true? Did
you actually ride around NYC in a real yellow cab" ... "Have you really been
on a fighter plane in Pensacola, and hmmmmmm, I also seem to recall reading
somewhere about you drinking beer in Chicago". "Now, aren't you a
little young for this sort of thing"?
Ann: "You're never to young to have a good time ... besides I'm special"
Brenda: "If you say so Ann" ... but, do tell me ... what was your most memorable trip?"
Ann: " Miss Brenda, every trip was memorable and holds special meaning
for me ... but, did you hear that I went to St. Louis and met the REAL Mary Engelbreit. She is my creator you know. She even invited me to her
birthday party".
Brenda: "Ann, where are you actually from?"
Ann: "My home is in Holland with Momma Gerda. Someday I will return
to her and my cat Socks. I miss them all. But, I'm not ready to go
home yet ... I'm having too much fun!!!!"

| "The day is just moving along too quickly and there are
so many people still to meet and interview" ... Brenda thinks to herself.
"I know I saw Beyonce', the well-known singer here earlier ... let me try to
find her and see if she will grant me a quick interview". Oh there she
is now ... "Excuse me Beyonce', do you have a moment to tell me a little
about your latest album that's climbing the charts so rapidly". "Why
certainly Miss Starr, it will be a pleasure".
